Mallard Brothers Production
2001 marked a time that the Mallard Bros. launched their first massive, creative project Clipboard Comics. The comics were created prolifically and ruled their lives until mid/late 2002. Other comic projects continue to this day.
In 2003, Alex and Andrew started making movies. They made these under the "studio" name of Playground Pond, Inc. They made a movie called A Special Day and its sequel, Gimme a Break!
Two years later in 2005 (after having lost their camera in a lawsuit to a man named Batman) they bought a new camera and continued the series with A Special Day 3. After the completion of A Special Day 3, Alex and Andrew joined forces with their friends Andrei Hahn and "Alex Two" Martinez.
Wanting to start new and fresh, they formed Mallard Brothers / Webbed Toe Productions, or just Mallard Brothers Productions for short. Eventually the name was simplified to the latter. They made some successful movies under this name until 2009, when their new camera finally stopped working. Around this time, the independent projects of Quacksilver and Mechatomic started and lessened the frequency of collaborations. Though they still continue.
